Yeah, I definitely think a sleeveless cardigan could work with a short sleeved or long sleeved shirt. When you pair it with a tank top, then it might be a Nay!

I have similar one like the one in the picture! And I love it! No, it isn't weird to pair it with a t-shirt or long sleeved shirt. I've done it before, just make sure it matches with the colour of the sleeveless cardi.
